Working With Jack & Life Lessons
My name is Ethan, and I work closely with Jack at his production company, Osbourne Media. Osbourne Media films a ton of projects, and we’ve spent a great deal of time together since I started at the company. Working with Jack and seeing his positive outlook in overcoming various challenges has put a lot of things into perspective in my own life. Although Jack has RRMS, his positive outlook and drive continue to push him to pursue his dreams. It is very inspiring to see Jack accomplish so much all while he looks after a business, cares for his family and manages his RRMS.
I know how important the You Don’t Know Jack About MS® campaign is to Jack. He is proud to share all he has learned through his own journey since his diagnosis. I have learned so much about MS through his stories and through the website and webisodes. MS is a disease a lot of people misunderstand, including myself, but Jack is trying to change that, and I aspire to understand his challenges and the challenges of those who are also managing this disease. I look up to him for making a positive impact in my life but also in the MS community by educating and supporting others affected by the disease.
Through working with Jack, I feel like I have grown so much as a person for the better, and I have found myself being far more patient and recognizing that most people are going through something even if I can’t see it with my own eyes. He reminds me that I can never know what someone else is going through at any given moment, so I try not to judge others and treat all people with compassion. Jack has taught me to never take my health for granted, and his dedication to his well-being has shown me the importance of making the best of what life throws at me!
